Leopard
A fine-grained grey granite with an unparalleled beige-pink spotted pattern — a material of natural mosaic quality, unique among Ukrainian granites. The name Leopard speaks for itself: against a greyish or cool beige ground, larger spots of warm beige and pink are scattered at random — some small and sharp, others diffuse and blurred, together forming a natural spotted pattern that repeats on no two slabs.
This irregular variegation is both the stone’s primary decorative value and a design challenge: large Leopard surfaces read as extraordinarily lively and dynamic, but require a considered approach to slab layout in order to avoid excessive visual disorder. Under polishing, the pink spots become more saturated and warmer, while the grey ground acquires a pearlescent luminosity. In flamed or brushed execution, the contrast between ground and spots softens somewhat, but retains its distinctive character.
