Granat
A medium- to coarse-grained pink granite whose mineral triad — potassium feldspar, quartz and biotite — forms a uniform yet expressive texture. Granat has a large, clearly readable grain: the mineral crystals are large enough to be distinguished with the naked eye — pink-cream feldspar grains, semi-transparent quartz inclusions and dark biotite flakes together form a natural “mosaic” pattern.
On the polished surface, this pattern becomes especially legible: the pink background intensifies, the quartz acquires a glassy lustre, and the biotite reflects with a metallic shimmer. The overall tone is warm, pink-cream with a subtle peach undertone — inviting and natural in character. It is precisely this combination of coarse, “living” grain and warm pink tone that gives Granat its personality — neither cold nor neutral, but expressive and self-sufficient.
Density 2,650 kg/m³ and water absorption 0.27 %. Compressive strength 93 MPa, flexural strength 17 MPa and abrasion 0.44 g/cm². Recommended for cladding, paving, countertops and window sills.
