Carpazi

A medium-grained granite of warm red-brown tones with an earthy, multi-layered palette. Carpazi is a granite of complex, polychromatic colour: there is no single dominant tone — instead, an entire symphony of hues: warm rusty-red, greyish-brown, beige and dark green interweave within the medium-grained body of the stone. The pattern resembles a mountain landscape in miniature — apparently chaotic at first glance, but in fact beautifully balanced.

Carpazi is at its most expressive across large exterior cladding surfaces: as the angle of light changes, the colour transitions acquire new accents, the stone “comes alive” and gains depth. Thermal surface treatment further reveals the warm earthy tones and emphasises the textural quality of the grain. It pairs naturally with timber, brick and Corten steel in architecture where an organic, landscape-rooted character is essential.

Density 2,670 kg/m³ and compressive strength 225 MPa combine with a low abrasion of 0.26 g/cm². Flexural strength 19 MPa. Water absorption 0.55 %. Ideal for façades, window sills, countertops and landscape design elements.
